Description
This series is a double balanced seal designed specifically for demanding applications in the pulp and paper industry as well as pulp applications. This type of seal is commonly used for abrasive and environmentally harmful liquid pumps in pulp mill cooking, evaporation, and caustic facilities. It is designed as a pressurized double end face seal with dual balancing function, allowing it to be used as a pressure free double end face device. The 2221 seal is specifically designed for the Sulzer® APP series pumps
Features
•Double seal with multi spring structure, Sliding O-ring design has a large axial displacement.
•Static compensation type sealing end face, double balanced design, stable operation even under pressure fluctuations.
•A set of multi spring compensation structures, with springs providing more uniform compensation force on the torus surface.
•Double end face single group spring structure, piston type sliding O-ring design, with large axial displacement, axial displacement does not affect the spring load.
•Suitable for critical applications, such as pulp & paper mill, evaporation, and some environmentally harmful liquid applications, can be used for Plan 52,53A, 54.
•Shaft diameters of 30,40,50,60,80,90,etc.

Speed: Up to 20m/s.
Sealing product: Acid, alkaline, low percentage of pulp, water, oil and other similar media.
Materials:
Seal Face: SiC/SiC (product side), SiC/Carbon (atmosphere side)
Rubber: EPDM, FKM,FFKM,Chemraz.
Springs: Nimonic steel.
